Help me load up
on: March 04, 2014, 09:47:02 AM
Hi all just received this from a member on edcf and am starting to fill it up. Bear in mind this isn't a electrical biased kit or anything just a general pouch I can keep in the box of my motorcycle

Oh and you might want a mini pry bar. But definitely get at lease 50 small zip ties. They are extremely useful.

You could also do the duct tape wrap around a credit card trick. Its always nice to have a good amount of duct tape.

Maybe a small notebook to go with the pen? And a bit kit to go with the Crunch?

- Large Folding Knife
- Small can of WD40
- Victorinox Bit-Kit
- Pack of gum or some breath mints
- Some string
- Spare Battery
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

Zip ties
Thin/Med gauge wire, not much
Duct tape, few feet
Electrical Tape, few feet
Super glue
Para cord, 10ft
Safety pins
Paper clips

FAK

Pen/Pencil/Sharpie
Small pad of paper

Small Light, I like on with strobe mode in case my vehicle becomes disabled on road side.
Spare battery

I have a small kit like this which is more a comfort kit and not meant for me to take on every possible situation. The wire has been handy and heck most situations can be dealt with using duct tape.

Good advice so far. :tu:

I'd like to add:

Small tape measure and a metal ruler. I have this one. --> http://dx.com/s/21416
Slip'N'Snips
Bic lighter
Thin utility knife or better yet a Gerber EAB
Needle and thread, maybe dental floss too.

What a lot of other people have said...

Duct tape wrapped around an old gift/credit card.
Fire making capabilities, even if you don't smoke.
Small note pad/book.
Minor first aid. Alcohol wipes, bandages, pain reliever, maybe ant-acid and allergy pills. (depends on your needs)
Extra battery for your flashlight.
Super glue

...and of course a Swiss Army Knife that fits your needs. ;)
It is a tiny tool chest in your pocket.
