Leatherman kick.  Brand new in box for $25.  And jus toot a new wave.... Well it's a replacement for the one my coworker broke this week.  Snapped the plier jaw off while trying to fix the threading machine carriage he just broke too.

Very true.  He certainly can be a bit rough on tools and normally I don't lend out tools but we were in a rush and I wasn't paying close attention to what he was doing, my bad...  Really sad to loose that wave too, I had broken it in to the point where I could one hand open it.  My new one is very tight and stiff. :(

The tiny Knipex are great. I've also been looking at similar PowerGRIP pliers by VBW, but they aren't broadly available on this side of the pond.

Do the jaws on the VBW PowerGrip pliers maintain true parallel through their range of motion like the Plierwrenches ?  I can't tell for sure, but from a quick look at the photo it looks like they operate like most multigrips (ie simply rotate around the pivot).  But they have done a good job of copying the Plierwrench cosmetics  :pok:

I've become a late convert to the Knipex Plierwrenches and Cobra Multigrips - such good quality  :tu:
