If anyone wants a pic of the SAKs opened, let me know. Gold is a Voyageur and red is a Cadet II. I also have a smooth Bantam on the way. I have just recently started getting into smooth alox 84mm and I'm amazed with how many there are out there to collect

Not really advertising but it isn't the usual Alox model.
On the scale is stamped KL83, that means royal army in the Netherlands.
Was supplied to my father in 1983 while serving in the army.
Probably the only quality product that was supplied to them.  :cry:

Here's a thread you can read up on those DAKs/Dutch army knives.

There was also some interesting models made for the Dutch air force/Koninklijke Luchtmacht. Those are marked KLU Eigendom and come in either blue smooth ALOX or  blue cellidor/plastic scales.

This case knives are really nice. I know only these four.

I collect primary smooth alox knifes with company names, advertising, etc., and also often wonder what it still all there.

That's why I started this thread.

Out of all the collectible Swiss army knives out there, this one boggles my mind the most - just can't see the appeal. I must have missed at least one in my lifetime because I found out just recently that these are quite valued
