Love my Rock Salt and the Schempp Rock.

For me it is the Fiddleback Forge Nessmuk. I'm a sucker for a beautiful Nessie

For me, it's a Strider PT CC.  Maybe one day.  One in PD1 steel would be great.

+1, even if only to see what all the fuss is about.  I just can't see myself dropping that much coin on a single knife any time soon, though.

With how weird I am about using certain expensive tools I doubt I would even use the thing either. Plus I would worry non stop about losing it. The Sebenza cost more than my first car!  :ahhh

I got a good look at a small Sebenza a few years ago and , while it was very nice, I didn't feel it was worth the price.  Of course that is a very subjective thing and YMMV.

I'm actually not sure that there is 'one' knife that I need to have.  A good few I would like to own, but not one that is head and shoulders above the rest.

Not fishing specifically, more in/around the see type of knife I don't have to worry about too much.

I think $750 was the MSRP. They can be had for $450, but that's still way to much for me.

I wan't the 25, but the 21 would be great as well.

I'm having a hard time spending money on any quality knives since I got into multitools. I would really like a Spyderco Military, but I can't justify spending the money. The Para 2 that resides in my pocket serves me just fine. It might be another story if they use the same lock on a future Military though.

I had a large 21 and promptly sold it. Wasn't worth it to me. Then I bought a small 21 Insigno. Still have that one, but it's destined to be sold as I've never carried it (Captain, PM me if you're interested).

I can't understand the fascination with the high end knives. I've got a few, but I never carry them and keep thinking they'd be better traded/sold for other things.

My (obtainable) dream knife is the German Expedition Knife by Tony Lennartz.

Or it's little brother, the GEK EDC

Pictures? One I found on the web (The first one: GEK without serrations or the fourth one: GEK EDC brown without serrations for me, please  :dd:)

Would love to get a knife made for me by JT Palikko. :dd:  Not only is he an artist in steel, wood, antler etc, but he's also a heck of a nice guy.

I do in fact own a could of things made by him; my two throwing axes.  8)

These were very much done at "mates rates" (he is a friend of a friend) and are definitely not his stock in trade.
