The title states it all.
I know some flashlights don't handle lithium cells, but I have no idea how to know if mine will.
Any help is appreciated.

I have partially answered this for myself. The P0 and A0 cannot use a lithium cell.

Still looking for info on the P1, but I assume it's the same.

Yes, i know I'm talking to myself at this point.
Okay, so now with manufacturer saying lithiums can destroy a light, the tester ran Energizer L92 Ultimate Lithium cells through the P0 with no ill effect. So...
EDIT: Energizer Ultimate Lithiums are rated at 1.5v, within the range allowed by the specs by 4sevens, so I guess they're good to go?

The A0 has an input range of 1.0-1.5 volts, the P1 0.9-3.0 volts.
The lights should be ok with lithium primary, but not lithium ion rechargeables.
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

What Millhouse said.
Lithium primaries and Lithium-ion batteries are different beasts. The (Energizer) lithium AAA and AA batteries are like normal everyday batteries, just with a different chemistry in them that enables them to have a longer shelf life, larger capacity and provide a more consistent current. But once they are empty, that's it. The lithium-ions are rechargeable batteries that have a much higher voltage and would fry most everyday gadgets, even most flashlights, they are mainly used in bigger flashlights that can handle the voltage and heat generated.

Sorry, I should have expanded my answer a little more. As Enki has said, lithium primary are just like a normal battery that puts out 1.5 volts. Lithium rechargeable are typically 3.7 volts.
