I was playing around on Youtube today and watched these 3. I have not seen them before, but they may have been posted previously..
It is worth watching so as to see how the more traditional knives are/were made.
My observations:
1. I was surprised by how few people appear to work there
2. They do not do their own heat treatment of their blades
3. They did not show how they make the scales
4. The owner looks like a regular guy, sort of like Tim Leatherman
5. To loosen a blade that was too tight the owner bend it to both sides, so as to give it some "play". Maybe this will work with some older GEC knives. It gives a new perspective to why some knives have blade play from new.
6. Seeing all the checks they do (centering, sharpness, finish, pull...) in theory all their knives should be perfect, if they always do these checks properly
