first MT ever
on: March 25, 2014, 06:54:43 PM
I wonder how many people end up here when they are buying their truly first MT?

New here from California.  Looking forward to picking up my first MT and learning more about it all.  Who knew there was more use to a SAK than looking at the little gadgets...

Welcome to the forum. :waving:

Browse around, bump a few threads if you have questions regarding a tool or start a new topic with your specific needs for a tool. I'm sure we'll be able to find you something suitable. Or maybe several new tools. >:D

These things are addictive. :assimilate:

Welcome to the forum. :hatsoff:

As already said; feel free to bump some old threads and ask any questions you want.  Even if they've been asked a hundred times before there's nothing we like better than to talk about multitools. :D

Hello and Welcome to MTo, this is the best place to come for advice on your first MT as many of us have the tool you are looking for or will eventually get it  :tu:.  Any thoughts on what your first might include or what you may need it for?

Well, I'm more of a fan of the other Oregon company that makes multis.....  ;)  Nothing against Leatherman, or the Rebar actually.  I've owned two of them at one point or another, though they're both moved on.  My next MT will likely be either a Rebar or a ST300.

Welcome griva86.
By now you will have noticed that they are a friendly bunch here and that there are plenty of people ready to offer advice and opinions.

Oh, and that noise you can hear is your wallet whimpering in fear.

You probably also noticed that this thread has already been derailed a couple of times... get used to it, this place has the collective attention span of a goldfish.
