Non-fiction uses
on: March 27, 2014, 07:22:29 PM
I just saw a documentary about german customs officers. One was handling a blue-scaled Explorer and used the small balde to open some confiscated Heroin and Cocaine bags to analyze them.
Sadly I could not take pictures. I guess it is his own knife, but maybe it was issued?

I wonder if this a task I would do with my pocket knife.Wouldn't he contaminate everything else he cuts with the knife?

Do you have seen other multitools in use in documetaries?

Spotted separately by both myself and Aloha, in an episode of Nature. 'Wolverine: Chasing the Phantom'

Also, on the NatGeo channel, the documentary 'Giant Crystal Cave', a scientist uses a Juice to take a sample from a liquid occlusion in a crystal.
