I was only saying it was above retail as it's $35 at the local shop with the only caveat being that it's sold out at the moment, hence me looking for one here.

I suppose I'll just wait until it comes back in stock....

No worries mate, we all have such days.

I called the shop and it appears they'll be getting around a dozen next week. Could be that it's the last batch they'll receive if they're out of production!

Ive never seen alox in a Canadian store! Heck I rarely even see the regular plastic SAKs around here, its sad. I buy all mine online and direct from dealers.

Yup, Alox knives are hard to source locally. There's a couple of outdoor stores in the city with a fair selection though.

Amazon.ca has some SAKs priced very reasonably, though their selection is limited.
