The engine wouldn't start yesterday once we had the boat launched. We paddled out to a few islands close by. I caught a catfish and a Sauger. Kept the Sauger and it was cooked up for lunch.

It's not always the size that counts!
Fished the Blind River last weekend at Grant's parents.
Caught a little smallie who put up one heck of a fight.

You've caught a lot in that river.  Did we post the pike you caught last time?  :D

Ocean and intercostal from surf, shore, and kayak. Reds, Drum, Pompano, Whiting, Trout, Shark, and the annoyingly ever present cats.

Freshwater- LM Bass mostly, but brim and carp are ok too.

I've been so busy with work and school that I've had little time to get out. I was content to do a total tackle bag clean out and organization yesterday. I fished the intercostal last weekend, got a bunch of cats and 2 rat reds, nothing big. Nothing was hitting a jr spook so I reverted to live shrimp.

I got a chance to get out and do some fishing today with the girlfriend. Not much but we got a big one each, bass is what's most common around here. Seems like they are getting bigger every year. Made use of the SOG Pocket PowerPlier to get the hook s out.

The pic is of the one my girlfriend caught.

I don't know that rod, but the reel.......... :hatsoff:

I have the new version, also SS internals, just bought one model too large.......you could use it for a club and kill people.
When I get to go shark fishing it should be perfect.....
