Monteverdi Pen Tool
on: April 07, 2014, 12:06:05 AM

I've seen those in the airport. I found them interesting but big 4.5" at least), heavy and expensive at 26€. Well, the price isn't a problem but it was big for EDC. Have you seen them? They would be good with a Surge with their ruler and spirit level.

Odd assortment of tools. I don't see too much utility in these...

Obviously, one needs a ruler/ spirit level AND a pencil to install a self on the wall and in similar situations.

That reminded me to add an IKEA pencil and ruler to the EDC.
The double edged bit looks like combatible with Cybertools. I looked at it and it has a little spring loaded ball, just like Vic's. But I didn't understand where one puts it to work with it.

Those pens have showed up a couple times on MassDrop, on sale.  They've looked interesting, but due to the other functions, they use a small ink cartridge, which is worthless when you're constantly using your pen throughout the day. :/

That's why I use my Fisher Bullet pens. They stay filled with ink and don't run out for years. :tu:

They suck. I unfortunately was gifted one from the inlaws and I had to smile through gritted teeth.

Pretty much what I was thinking.

And as for the putting up a shelf comment...No. You need competent full sized tools for that. Full size level. A meter stick or large square ruler.

I was about to say, usually when you're using a level, you also need a pencil.

This thing really smacks of "Welcome to my heavily in debt construction agency run from a partially vacant strip mall. Here, have a ridiculous novelty pen."

I still think its clever.

to bad it wasn't built a little better.

I use a little level and a stylus so its a handy looking combo to me
