Wish me luck?

I just pulled the trigger on an MP1. Anyone know if the qc has gotten better yet?

Best of luck to you, hope your MP1 experience is better than mine. I just returned my second one to Gerber. I did like it, planned on retiring my faithful "never say DIEsel" that I carry at work.
The first one had serious tool rattle issues, and the pry bar/opener snapped with what I considered light prying.
The second one was tighter, but the pliers had an awful lot of play right out of the package.
Returned the second one to Gerber and requested a line of credit.
I do hope your MP1 is better!!  :salute:

Just came in the mail. Seems great. The full size bit driver is awesome and the scraper/utility blade is a nice touch. Getting the center tools out is a bit of a challenge, but it's doable.

:D Great! Glad to hear you got a good one! Curious to hear what you think of it after some use.

I just had to look up the MP1 as I was unfamiliar with it. First glance, it appears to be a hideous tool with way too many flat drivers and one of those "barely touch" set of wire cutters (like the Sidekick/Wingman). Amazon wants $77 for it - scary! very scary!

I'll definitely pass on this one :td:
