I don't think it'll be fantastically red, no.
So... sorry for the blurry pics. I have no tripod or way to click the shutter on my camera without holding it so...
Here it is about 50% eclipsed.
And here, only about a quarter remains.
And, sad to say, those are probably the two best.
Still, I had fun sitting on my deck, wrapped in my coat, listening to my iphone, and watching it all happen. It was almost freezing out, and the sky was just about perfectly clear.
I woke up the hubby once it was fully eclipsed for him to get a look. He was very slightly more than utterly apathetic about it, which means he must have really been interested. He doesn't exactly emote.
