I did something to a Sidekick.

I found myself with an extra duplicate Sidekick and thought I might tear it apart, paint it with some red rust paint. Then I sanded it roughly with 60 grit and then 120 grit to give it that well worn look. Yeah, I just don't like having too many duplicates. I figure if I could make this one a little different, it could find a home with me. Otherwise, it would have been gift fodder for someone.

I took the whole thing apart, but wanted to keep the top plates clean as well as the pocket clip. I figured it would make a nice contrast to the painted area.

I am definitely not into modding, but a little splash of colour to differentiate it from its brother worked out to my satisfaction.

First thought was "nailbraker", looks little like blood splatter. I like worn looks on it. It gives some character on it.
