Prince Albert in a MM cob is a nice, simple, relaxing smoke.  It's my go-to when I can't choose between my other blends, my Vic Tinker of tobaccos if you will. ;)  I also mix two parts PA with one part black cavendish as a good out in public smoke.  Nice aroma without being too weak and sweet.

Hmmmm, I might try that. Not a big one for aromatic, but that might be good.

I'm not either, but I do enjoy that mixture.  It's no good English Lat bomb, but it doesn't feel like you're smoking a piece of candy either. :)

You guys tried that new Drew Estate stuff? They are suppose to recreate old blends from the 1800's. The Meat Pie is supposed to be a real good English blend....been doing some reading.

http://www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend/5572/drew-estate-meat-pie

I have a small amout of credit from a gift cert. at Thompsons so I was looking at their selections...they have Half and Half too.

I haven't, but the local smoke shop carries them.  I'm stopping in there om Friday.....  Half and Half bit the hell out of my tongue the couple times I tried it.  I much prefer PA.

Maybe its me, but half and half is a hit and miss anymore. Also, it seems like it falls flat about a half a bowl in. Not as good as it used to be I think.

I heard someone was make some of the old blends. Thank for the info. Another blend I just thought of is Dunhill 965. Its a good Lat bomb.

Love those places. I live out in the sticks and it's probably 75-100 miles to the nearest quality shop.

Lol I feel your pain ... one plane or a day by boat for me. I can buy Cuban's here but most of them are soggy (most places don't humidify since we have such high humidity) and it's actually cheaper for me to buy illegal Cuban's in the US!

I used to go down on Saturday mornings...look at the sticks, buy a few and then hang around and shoot the breeze. Sometimes even got to try a new cigar for free.

Sat on the porch and caught The Last Radio Playing show on WWCR. The Blues were great, the cigar wasn't.

It was a non descrip VS maduro with 55 Series on the band but it was nowhere near the quality of the current 55 Series Maduros...couldn't finish it.

I got it for a less than a buck so.....c'est la vie.
