Battlestar Galactica multitool sighting!

In season 1 episode 5 at about 18:30, Starbuck crashes on a moon, finds a Cylon fighter she shot down and is trying to get into it.

She pulls a multitool from out of her boot. Looks a lot like a ToolClip variety multitool but am not sure whatit is exactly, maybe just a knock off.

I think the slats on the side indicate it was sourced from the Battlestar China.

Still, it's hard to screw up a fixed head plier tool!

I just started watching this on NetFlix and stumble on this thread having just finished Season 1 Ep 4!

I'll be on the lookout for the MT usage for sure.

The only other one I ever saw was the time Ron Swanson in Parks and Recreation flicked out a Gerber to pull his tooth. That was awesome!

There was a brand name knife at the beginning of season 3. Starbuck again, this time a CRKT M21. I'll try to remember to post some pics of it.

OK, here we go.

Season 3, episode 1, around the 11 minute mark.

CRKT M21.

First one of the Cylons is using it to cut his stake, then he gets stabbed in the throat by Starbuck with some spike, and then she sits down and eats her dinner cutting her stake with the M21.

You can even see the AutoLAWKS in the sixth picture.

I am a huge sci-fi fan, and loved the series to a point, but just got totally burned out on the utterly relentlessly dark tone. I didn't watch the last season, the series smurfed me off so badly. Somewhere along the line, for me, it crossed from drama to melodrama.

I have exactly the same melodrama feeling towards the season before the last. But I kept hanging on anyway, and I much say the last episode is everything I expect it to be, and it just can't end any better than that. Maybe to give it a go sometime just to see the end?

Thanks for all the screen caps, it amazed me how they are so technological advanced with all the FTL drives, but yet still carry 21st century MTs. How I wish they have the 530th year anniversary SAK soldier knife replica with laser cutting edge.
