[Video] Making a DIY Kydex Pocket Organizer for EDC items and Moleskine notebook

Hi, all. :waving:







Long have I wanted to make this video, and finally I got a little free time to put the material together.  This video is about the first big kydex project I undertook, and what I've learnt from making a DIY Kydex pocket organizer.  Hope you too will get a chance to try it, and if there is anything I could be of help to make your own customized kydex pocket organizer, please let me know.  :D :cheers:
Merit Badges Participants shall carry and use one Soldier knife, the model of their choosing, for the duration of the 90 days and post a picture each day. Start a new thread and post a photo of an Executive or Director for thirty (30) consecutive days. In this challenge,  carry one(1) Pliers-based or Non-pliers multitool that we always have prejudice against, hate or even fear and post a picture everyday for 30 days Start a new thread and post a photo daily of any SAK 74mm or smaller ( you can switch it up daily ) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a 'folding hunter' knife that isn't a Buck 110 for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate in a challenge thread and post a photo of a Victorinox 91mm XAVT/XL/XLT, 111mm Workchamp XL, Wenger/Delemont S54/Tool Chest Plus or Wenger Giant for thirty (30) consecutive days Using EDC items randomly selected with a poker hand, post a photo of your EDC or a component of the EDC that got used during the course of the day for 4 weeks (or 30 consecutive days) Start a new thread and post a photo of the 111mm sak for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the minimal sak (2 layers or fewer) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate and contribute in Challenge thread and post a photo of either an Axe, MT/Folding knife or Fixed blade (picked at the beginning of challenge) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a Spyderco knife for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate and contribute in Challenge thread and post a photo of a different blade each day for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a SAK Soldier for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate in a challenge thread and post a photo of a SAK Cybertool (any variant), Swisschamp, Champion or Toolchest for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Fieldmaster SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the discontinued sak/mt for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of a fixed blade for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Explorer SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of any gear for thirty (30) consecutive days during the MTo anniversary month. Start a new thread and post a photo of the leatherman (supertool, core, hacks) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Vic Spirit MT for sixty (60) consecutive days.

Looks like a useful setup. :cheers:

How will you be carrying it? Jacket pocket or bag? Looks a bit too big except you carry military style trousers or something like it.

Yes, I actually use it for a little while during a long vacation when I get to wear cargo pants everyday. 

The whole kydex organizer actually can fit ok into my work-days khaki pants, but I usually am a little greedy trying to stuff the cell phone in the same pocket...which is just not possible with an average sized pants pocket.

Btw, the item I tends to use most is the MT, so that's why I kept the clip for it a little loose.  I purposely leave some 'tabs' around the organizer, so I could drill holes and put lanyard thru if needed.  I think this setup is particular useful to folks who want to carry a small notebook/pen on person, so the organizer can provide some structure and pretend creasing on the notebook.
