That is the same Compact I've been EDCing for years now.  I swapped the Plus scales for the yellow ones as part of a Sosakonline article a while back and it's been a constant companion since.

The Starmate was from a run manufactured in Golden,Colorado not the most recent 2012 run made in Japan.

I have two,I knew that one would never be enough to satisfy my knife addiction.LOL.
