This advert appeared in an Irish newspaper in January 1906.
A Sheffield cutler was trying to drum up some Irish business.
I love how contemporary the penknife looks.

That's a pretty neat old ad.
Faugh-A-Ballagh is probably Gaelic for "Cut an Englishman's throat" though......
There's no such thing as "Too pretty to carry". There's only "Too pretty NOT to carry"......
