I have been collecting knives since I was WAY younger.  I started in the '80's when in high school and was into (bought/sold/collected) Parker Cutlery knives mainly, and then moved onto other interests.  I have a little collection of Buck knives, Ka-bar Knives, and some others, but my main focus the past few years has been Swiss Army Knives.

The heavy camping and outdoor days have evolved (along with fatherhood, etc) into a more subtle time of hiking and backpacking.

Sounds like you'll fit right in here. :)

BTW, any unintentional purchases, craving for new tools or spelling mistakes in posts is solely the fault of kirk13, just so you know. :D :D

Thank you all the the welcoming...... I already received some help in cleaning up an old Electricians Plus SAK knife that works and looks almost like new right now.  The help here was much appreciated!  I look forward to sharing and learning much.

PS:  I'm pretty good at mispellings and making unintentional purchases and have cravings for new gadgets and tools.  I'm either in the right place or in trouble.
