Greatings from PA.
on: May 31, 2014, 10:29:08 PM
First off what a great site and a great bunch of people!!
About myself, I've been carrying(before they called it EDC) and using some type of Multitool since back in the 80's when the Leatherman PST first came out. I would find a need for it everyday on a dairy farm I worked at and it's still an activity I'm involved with. Probably the last eight or ten years I've been carrying the Gerber 600 Pro scout in which it has never failed me. I used it daily both on the farm and at my job as a mechanic at a food plant and it has never left me down. At the moment I'm using a Diesel just to see how it compares and so far so good.
Great to be here!!

Hello  :salute: and Welcome.  Do you carry any other complimentary tools along with your Gerber?  SAK perhaps? Blade? Flashlight? Inquiring minds want to know.  Haha Ok I'm just nosy.

Along side Gerber I carry a Fenix LD12 which is with me always unless I'm at work in which case I carry and old Coast Hocus Focus. The LD12 I really like because of the multiple light outputs and the clip reverses to clip it on the brim of my hat when working on equipment at the farm at night. I also almost always have a SAK farmer in my pocket along with a ferro rod.
I have an Izula that rides horizonally on my belt and usually rotate a folder which is currently a Benchmade Griptilian.

I've been told I have a problem  :D

Hello from PA. I am on the eastern side of the state northwest of Philadelphia.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob
