Cutstarter, where all the projects are a cut above the rest!
nice! Now to make a logo lol.

I wonder why kicks tarter doesn't allow knives. Are there more rules for it and they didn't want to deal with it?

Ya I dont really understand their rules.  But it says in the FAQ no weapons, knives or accessories.  I dont see  how that axe project was oked based on that.  I sent an email to ask if folding knife projects are considered weapons.

I just realized what auto correct did. Kind of funny :) I would be interested too what they say. If they say it's not a weapon but a tool... then SAKs would definitely be ok, since it is a MULTI-TOOL :D

Very beautiful work right there guy....good stuff!

A Ti Electrician has been a dream of mine for a long time. I do have one of Syph's Ti Minichamps and it'd go perfect with that.

Nice!

Very nice work!!!  :tu: :tu:

I would love to own one of those. The titanium looks fantastic!

Would anodizing or coloring/heat treating the titanium ever be an option?

Yep - Like everyone said: beautiful, spectacular, highly desireable etc etc

Just one question sprung to mind...
How come the year is '14' - As presumably no 93mm blades have been made this year by Vic or Wenger?

So I assume the year stamp/imprint was also done by you??

I didn't want to use official Victorinox logo.
I'm planning to have different types of scales, liners and tools.
Yes, the year number is engraved by me.
I made these scales myself. As to photoshop, the only one photoshopped is the photo with blue liner option: ;)

Hey
Just noticed that these amazing knives have the keyring attachment
Technically does that make them Pioneers (not Soldiers) ??

Although of course a 'Soldier' Shield

The variations tab on the wiki clears that up.

Quote from: sakwiki
With Keyring; while almost all soldier's knives do not include the keyring attachment spacer and keyring, there was an unissued version that included the keyring. The keyring version is reported by Victorinox to have been manufactured from 1992/93 to 2002 for general sale, but they were never delivered to the Swiss Army. Actual examples have been have been reported with year stamps 94,95,97,98,99,00. These knives are labeled as Soldier's rather than Pioneers with dated blades (common), because they have the Swiss shield on the scales and the dated blade was intentional and consistent.

I thought I would post an update for those interested in kickstarter policy changes.  Non weapon type knives ARE allowed now.  They were not before... so yes multitool kickstarter projects are completely fine now!

Quote from email response I got from Kickstarter.

"Sorry for the confusion. A project for a culinary knife or a project for a multitool (like the axe project) would be allowed under our new rules. We do not consider those objects to be weapons. That said, we still prohibit weapons, which includes many other types of knives."

So whos up for an MTO kickstarter MT project...

How would it work, would there be a kind of voting system on the forums to try and determine the most desired tool combo, colour combo, and materials; and then the kickstarter started; or just whatever the creator fancied to make and see if it would get funded?

Could work either way.

Maybe worth a designated thread. I there were some plans on it a few years back with the company that went to make weapons specific multies but that never happened.
