The Barnacle.
on: June 13, 2014, 11:36:34 PM
Maxpedition produces a belt pouch named the Barnacle. After watching a number of videos I thought I would try one.Priced at $22.00 and fitting my idea of the dimensions which I figured should work for a particular loadout,I bought one.

Here are several pictures of this pouch to illustrate size.

In the first picture I peeled the top flaps of the pouch back so as to provide a better look inside.

The second picture shows the number of tools held by this pouch.Leatherman wave,Vic OHO Sentinal, two Leatherman BTN tools, spare 154CM wire cutters,41 piece bit kit ,spare file and saw blades.

Thank you mate.

That little pouch is a real workhorse, especially for its size.

I"m seriously considering a Maxpedition M1 for more space to carry the Surge and even more tools.

Sorry about my slow response. It's molly compatible.I'm currently using alice clips but I bought some nylon straps and I'm waiting for my lovely wife to sew them on,so I can just slide my belt though the newly created belt loops.

I modified a Micro organizer to be a belt pouch.(just modified it again to be a quick detach belt pouch) Before then I used a Mini organizer and just ran my belt through the webbing on the back.
