Don't walk past that rust
on: June 15, 2014, 11:12:19 PM

Lets have a closer look

Here we are after cleaning the head with a wire brush
I could shorten and reuse the old handle but I like more swell on the end of the handle
The replacement handle is a little chunky, here it is with an old one I'm going to use as a template

Kinda finished, I might rub the handle down, add another coat of linseed oil and sharpen it a bit more...

:pok:  So go back and buy that lump of rust

I like the look of the 'longer' one Tony, that's pretty much what I was trying to describe in our convocation a while back, about that head you gifted me  :tu:
I WILL get round to it one day   ::) soon
