Wow! Great combo! Brings to mind Metropolis or the recently ressurected FallOut!

I made a Passenger out of parts I had. Instead of a corkscrew I used a old school square spam can opener philups screwdriver. I also moded the can opener.

I think Alcohol, Tabacco and Firearms should be a convenience store, not a government agency.

Very nice!  I would like to see a Pioneer with the mag glass and inline philips added and maybe the scissors but not a deal breaker for me!  That would be a sweet sak! :D

Thanks eddie, and mike too.  The orange anodising is really delicate - I left a few marks on it while peening, and though it's only been in my pocket over the weekend it's already showing signs of coming off.  Fortunately I like the weathered look on my alox so I'm happy with it.

My much-modded Pioneer gets another tweak:
Added a sheepsfoot blade, made from a pruner.

Love the black, steel and brass together.

That looks mint.  :tu:  :tu:  :tu:  Nice work mate.  :salute:

Thanks!  It's still a WIP - the phillips was ground to fit a pair of opener springs but it's fitted to a single blade spring and doesn't quite snap properly.  The springs must be slightly different shapes.  I also cut the pins a little short so getting the amount of interference with the scales is tricky, making tuning the feel of the knife difficult.

Very impressed with your peening Hiraethus

That's the good side, that I formed on the bench before building the knife.  The other side isn't so good. :-[  I want to find a way of creating the domed head that you get on factory SAKs.

Actually, what I really want is an easy way of using threaded barrel pins on the 91mm knives without having to drill the tools out.  I've just bought some M1.6x0.35 taps and screws to try 2.5mm pins for the centre. :tu:  I'm seriously considering buying my own lathe so I can make them at home.
