My new idea. Tool Pioneer with scissors.
Aluminum Victorinox scale covered with very hard Cerakote H-168Q Zombie Green coating.
The second scale made from 2.5mm titanium grade 5.
The scale has holes for 3 types of bits and a shackle opener.

Nice job!
Where do you get the screws?

Thank you! :salute:

The screws I buy from http://www.accuscrews.co.uk/ - they're M2 Torx countersunk screws.  I make the pivots myself from 3mm brass rod:

No prob! I live in the us so metric brass is a bit hard to come by. Is shipping going to be an arm and a leg?

That's awesome! How well do the bits stay in while being used?

2.5mm and 3mm seems to be easy enough to get, 2.2mm (for 91mm SAK middle pins) less so. You can probably get by with 1/8" and 3/32" and a bit of sanding.

The holes are made at an angle and the bits stay there firmly while in use
The bits can be mounted in a closed knife and they don't touch other tools. Just the Leatherman bit may be a little loose and has to be mounted with opened knife tools, because it's longer. I showed it on YouTube

A few photos of my latest mods.

Wenger Soldier Soldat with Scissors.
Additionally made, hand finished and polished brass liners.

Nice, perfect for Wenger Wednesday.

Re-worked another old mod of mine today - I originally built this Super Pioneer from an orange Farmer with peened brass pivots, but was never that happy with it (mostly just the look of the brass and orange together).  Swapped the peened pivots for threaded pivots with countersunk stainless screws and think it looks much nicer now (particularly with a bit of wear).  I reckon this is also the nicest feeling knife I've done so far - loads of snap and a really solid feel to it.  Got what I feel is a good process and technique for these mods now, and reckon I can get a consistently good finish.

Z, will do. Shame you don't get chance to get your hack on as much as you'd like - would love to see what you come up with. Been on a bit of a Cellidor kick lately but am enjoying playing with the alox again. Got a black/red Pioneer waiting for surgery next...

More modded alox:

Old cross red Woodsman donor (it was borderline salvageable - shortened and badly sharpened blade, bent and burred saw) turned into an alox Mountaineer with screw pivots and hand made brass liners.
