Very nice build indeed
Recently completed this build... Nothing special though... Just replaced the scales and liners of the Minichamp with that made out of brass... Originally wanted to take out a couple of tools I never use, but tool configuration meant that one if the tools nail nick would be inaccessible... A friend did the brass scales and liner...(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Still deciding on whether to put some graphics on the front and back scales... The color reminds me of C3PO... Maybe a Star Wars theme might be appropriate... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm past due for pics so here's a bunch. Very nice mod Psych. How did you spring the scissors?
Some really nice mods in here recently
This is my first mod. Just finished it today. It's not cosmetically perfect, but works well and I imagine that it the imperfections will be less noticeable as it develops pocket wear.(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I used old scissors from an explorer I disassembled a while back with a new pioneer x spring. I really don't like the pioneer x scissors because of the nail nick placement. It required me to bend the new spring a bit to get a good snap, but works great.

I did the same with 91mm scissors and a Pioneer X spring, but on mine I didn't have to do anything to the spring.

Do you find that these hook nail files wear out from being exposed? I got a used Compact with the file surface on hook and it works...kinda, but it's no where near as "cutting" as the Sportsman type nail file.I thought maybe having it on the "outside" of the knife meant it's gonna get rubbed against surfaces and eventually lose its "grit". Man that is a great build. Has me thinking of doing a Compact LED Lite/Phillips. Great travels SAK.Screwdriver PLUS bottle of wine afterwards. What blade is it I see there in the one with the bit driver? Looks like a 93mm Alox thickness blade.Pretty ones all.
Added another couple of layers to this one.(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Recently finished this one... Just slimmed down a Swisschamp and took out the wood saw and fish scaler... Also replaced the chisel for a fine screw driver and rearranged the layers. Now I have a multi tool dedicated for SAK modding... Think I'll just call it The Modder (for lack of a better name) (Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)No sooner after The Modder was completed, it was called into service. Assisting on another build by removing scales, pulling out bushings and filing flat pins pre-peening and filing out excess pins before putting on new scales. Thanks to The Modder, I now have another Yeoman for EDC...(Image removed from quote.)Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
