Not mine but pretty sweet. I don't think I saw this one over here.
Hello, wanted to make interchangeable scales from wood for my Executive. A change of the liners was necessary, now they are from thick brass, the scales are screwed on. They are of Red Shisham.(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)
I recently traded a Grand Prix mod with Gareth but decided I missed it so built another.Used a file spring that can accept a back tool and fitted the flat driver instead of the chisel. No nail file hook on this one, unfortunately.

I've been considering buying an actual vintage Grand Prix (with the fine driver on the back of the file, it won't have the hook, though), really like the tool combo on this

I would say the screws make it much easier. I have no experience with pin work, but it sounds like a bit of a pain to me. This was the first tweak I've done, and had no issue with it.Sent from my SM-G920R4 using Tapatalk

I'd like to do some modding of my own and using screws seems to be much easier than the pins ...

(My adventures into Alox!). They are not necessarily any easier than pins however, at least not if you're modding for your own use, since it requires drilling out the rather hard tools to make them fit. I believe they are 1/8" instead of the standard 2.2 & 2.5 mm but I'm not certain.

Another fatman I maded:
I like what you did there! I also have a question about the fork. The answer may be in the video but my PC doesn't have sound, so: Is that a Mikov fork? And what kind of spring is it on? Do you think it could be fitted in a 84 mm knife?
