Glow in the dark Delica?
on: July 10, 2014, 07:05:53 PM
I saw this replica of a Spyderco Delica in HH site. Would it be possible to use just the scales in a "real" Delica to make it glow in the dark? Are they strong enough? Anyone tried this?...

Also depends if it's in 1:1 to the original Delica.

We'll be giving away something similar this year soon. ;)

For the record, these were designed by Glenn Klee who has also designed (among other things) the NIRK knife and Range Bag Tool from CRKT and the Skeletool from Leatherman as well as wooden and plastic knife kits and a multitool axe called the Klax.

I think you're missing a few letters there, Def. ;)

Designed by Glen Klecker.

BTW, are we sure that Glen did these for Spyderco too or they just copied his work on the Trigger Knife kits and Nathan's knife? I don't see his name being mentioned anywhere. And copyrighting "knife parts kit" is a bit tricky. ;)

Glenn was the one who told me about them so I'm pretty sure it's on the up and up.

Ok, but... Anyone traded the original scales of a Delica with these? Does it work?...
