This happened just this week. Similar story to Wildj3.

I was in shover and my kids might have been hassling with the kitchen door lock. Lock jammed, and nearly left me the other side of the house. I had to take lock totally apart to fix it. I have twin toddlers, and they are everywhere. I have hard time to stay behind them, and fix everything they touch.

Maybe you should throw two dices...

Awfully kind of you to host this GAW.

I told this one last year and lost on a similar contest so this may be an unlucky story.

My wife and I were traveling back home on a 10 hour trip by car. One hour into the trip the antennae fell out of the car. I had a wire coat hanger and a small multitool to bend it into shape. This allowed me to make an antennae out of the coat hanger and give us something to listen to for the next 9 hours.

Thanks for the chance to win!!

I was mountainbiking when the locking ring on the end of my freewheel came off (pre-cassette days here), all the ball bearings fell out, and I was faced with a walk.
I pulled out three zip ties, and fastened the freewheel cogs as one unit to several spokes using a Seber tool, and rode out. No free-wheeling possible though, and I never attempted to change the gear it was in.

Awww yea!

I couldn't be happier right now. I seriously can't stop smiling.

I needed a pick me up from the normal day to day bullcrap and this just did it for me. A huge thank you WildJ3 for the generosity and the GAW. It is always refreshing seeing how giving people can be and it really does make the difference in the forum and especially and more importantly in everyday life. I can't thank you enough!
