Anyone have an account on edcforums?

Anyone have an account on edcforums? I've been trying to join for weeks but the site never approves my account! Can anyone reccomend a similar community that is accepting new members?

Have you tried emailing them? They have a contact email on top of the forum loginedcf at gmail.com.

And one of the moderators from there reads this forum regularly so he might contact you at some point.

I've tried the contact page, I'm giving up for now. I did get a reply from the store from a guy claiming to be the owner of the forum, he didn't help and was kinda rude. He also claimed he was going to be shutting the forum down because it was a hassle to maintain. No one on the forum acts like its closing, but I can't post so I can' task about it there.

Have you been checking your emails? They send you confirmation email that you need to follow... It did took some time to get approved for me aswell.

Yup, the store guy, Jon, is the owner of the place. He's been talking of closing it for years and it's still there. I PMd a link to here to a mod there so he might contact you.

It's the only forum to ever ban me.

I'm proud to not be a member. 

I do belong to edc society but I hang out and do most of my posting here.

There's no place on the net like MTO

BTW my vote for the strangest thread this year is the one where I banned a spammer and then members started exchanging recipes for the best spam and eggs dish. :facepalm:

I guess that there must be,  my ISP would not allow an ala cart package only allowing MTO/Photobucket/Ebay/Paypal.

Oh I am sure of that.  That's why I say this place is outstanding.  It was cool to see it happen.  So glad Cowsmilk is among us and there is no OUR forum vs THEIR forum.  Awesome to see.

I don't believe in that kind of thing.  Some people like their vibe better than ours, some prefer KF, some BF, USN, AR 15, BB etc. It's no big deal.  The Internet is big enough for all of us.  :D

You Guys made me smile - because of the kind help that was given and for being some of the strangest people I have met on the Interwebs...
I do rate this at least among the top 5 of strange threads - Together with the already mentioned Spam thread and the Ignore thread and a few others I have forgotten...

And I must agree with Bmot that Detrons way to save money does seem strange to me... The only way to make it worse is sleep deprivation and added beer.
