Bronze or brass pins for custom SAK
on: July 26, 2014, 12:12:11 AM
Hey guys,
Quick question. I couldn't track down brass brazing rod but found bronze. Will that be ok for SAK pins? I know very little about different metal properties.

Try model aircraft shops, they usually have brass rod.  Maybe Modelair in Newmarket. or Hobby City

If it's like here (Brisbane) it can be hard to find metric sizes, especially the 2.2mm. Aparantly it is easier to find in England, the home of the Imperial measurement system... go figure.

I got some a while back, but that business has closed down :-(
