i dont own any tools at all except a scewdriver and swisstech keyring(which i find really useful) so thought it was time to sort that out and my google quest lead me here couple of weeks so thought id join and say hello :salute:

i was after something with a hammer and nearly got one of those dodgy chinese wrench hammer things before coming to my senses then after researching found the LM mut which is well out of my price range as im in uk so still searching...any recommendations would be great

im also a vaperer ...recognize davek from ukv

What other tools do you  need to have in your MT?
There are not many MTs with a hammer that I know of, but someone here probably knows about a few.

Welcome  :cheers: the Mut is nice but really a firearms tool,the waves great but not uk legal, i like the juice xe6 or swisschamp, or vic explorer or juice s2 etc etc etc  :whistle:

Hi, people say this one from Beretta is one of the better ones with a hammer. Its designed for shotgun users.

thanks thats a good call Philby not seen that one not come across that before ill keep an eye out for it

in regard to the mut...ive seen it stupidly cheap on a site calleed SPAMCORP...is it too good too be true? ships from states but office is in hong kong(although searching alibaba i can only find a crunch and squirt fakes) only clone fake place ive seen a mut is sulrit

As to your question: I am not sure a pocketable MT could replace a hammer. And should you really plan on smashing its mechanic against metal, wood, stone?
Personally, I would get a good MT* and a 200-300g hammer or water pump pliers if you insist on multipurpose tools  ;)

*That would be to the tune of Leatherman Rebar, ST300 or so. Take a look at http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,49288.0.html for some heavy duty real world experience.
