I usually use paracord with a false Turkshead on the end like these .(Image removed from quote.)But recently made a sheath with an idea I had for using the lanyard as a retainer fastener . I needed a little bit of stretch which paracord doesn't have and an easily adjustable lanyard so I used leather .The first one I just knotted it , but I've since come up with this idea and will use it again because it works really well .(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)Ken

Ain't nothing wrong with leather either. You make the sheaths yourself?
+1 on retaining the knife with a leather lanyard on a knob on the sheath being a really good idea! Never seen that one before.
