This is terrific news!  Now I can go back to liking Spyderco knives again :D

I'm over it. I always have and most likely always will like Spyderco's. That is until the next time I have a issue. Then it's WAR until it gets resolved. Then back to loving the company.  :D

Yay! :)

It made my night. I forgot to check the mail and decided to go check it. I did not expect to get them that quick, but I guess they shipped them out promptly since they "screwed up." (pun intended)  :D I saw the package and got excited. Told myself to not get ahead of myself and to expect the wrong screws again. Once I opened it and saw the replacement and I knew they were the correct ones and then got excited:mail: They sen't locktite as well. I didn't use it as the screws already have dried locktite on them, but its good to have extra.

Yes, I can just picture your face...

Hey, how did you get that picture of me?

Glad they (finally) got it sorted for you Cap'n!  :tu:  I hear ya about war with a company until an issue is resolved, then back to loving them.  I had the same feeling about Kershaw, royally ticked off with them until the correct parts for my Thermite arrived.  Then they were back to the top of my favorites.  :)

Well it looks great. How do you find it? What are your top three folders?

I love it! Fit and finish is excellent and I do not even notice it in my pocket. I love the compression lock as well. That was the only thing that I figured I might have a problem with, but I love the lock design.

Top 3 folders would be hard to pick, but I will try. In no particular order.

Spyderco Paramilitary II
Spyderco Endura 4/Delica 4
Spyderco Pacific Salt

Technically that is 4 folders, but it would be so hard to choose between the Delica 4 and Endura 4.

I agree with you on the lock design, it's great. I wonder how left handed people like it , it sure would be tough to compress the lock and flick the blade closed with the left hand.

Great pictures by the way :tu:

Holy Smurf Cap'n, I'm just now realizing that's a liner-lock. Not to piss on your pride and joy but that's a big NO for me owning one :td:

Oh Sawman. You loose faith so easily. It is not a liner lock, but rather a compression lock. It works by wedging a steel tab between the blade tang and a steel stop pin. The design is extremely strong.  :tu:

I don't hate them but prefer a lock that can be operated by both hands.

EDIT: After messing around with it more left handed it is a little awkward to release it one handed if you are doing it left handed (if you do the blade drop).
