Very true. You can't take it with you so might as well enjoy it while you can. I'll be eating top ramen for a while, but it's well worth it.  :tu:

Well i'm smurfing pissed! Just my smurfing luck. I get a defective knife. WTF! To top it off I called and they do not have any backup stock for this kind of situation since someone mistakenly sold them over the weekend. So I can get a refund and send the knife back or wait for new stock to come in which can be months and no guarantee or keep the defective one.  SSMMMUUURRFFFF!

So to explain what is happening is I wen't to change the pocket clip to tip up right pocket carry and the far right screw goes in half way and then just starts to turn and lean. It will not go in any farther than in the picture. WHY ME!!! WTF!!! I smurfing knew it!!!

  I'd be royally pissed off.  Have you contacted Spyderco?  Actually I might have some screws that might work courtesy of Kershaw and my own little CS nightmare.  I'll check when I get home.

I am royally pissed. I did not contact Spyderco yet, but I did write the seller and told them I would take a replacement of the Black blade Digi-Camo version and a paid shipping label to send the Satin blade version back. I really wanted the Satin, but I rather have the Black then a refund and no Para II. If they decline then I will contact Spyderco.

No need to look for the screws. I do not believe the screw is the issue. Actually in being so pissed off I did not test the other screws in the hole to see if they reacted the same. Hmm....  Off to do that now.

That's so super uncool I could smurf. I thought Spyderco was better quality than that. :td:

I feel especially bad about this since I know you splurged on this and money is scarce. I'd be super pissed.

So I tried one of the other screws in the problem hole and it wen't in correctly. I did not think the screw was the issue since it was installed into the original hole fine. I then tried the "damaged" screw on the empty hole and it would not go. I assume it is just the screw now.  I'm still pissed off, but hopefully its a easy fix. I will keep you guys posted.

If it's a bad screw that doesn't seem good because what about the hole it came out of - could that have been damaged by it  ???

Sorry to hear that!  I am sure Spyderco will take care of it.

I have had quite a few Spyies in my day and never had any issue with any of them.   Whether it was the PM2's, Delica's, Salt's, Endura's or any Manix's.

I was thinking the same. I installed the other screw in the hole it came out of and it went in fine. I then took it out and installed it again to make sure everything was good and it seemed to be.

I called Spyderco and they are sending a replacement screw. Hopefully it works out. I am not going to carry it until I find out if it works.

The clip on my PM2 worked just fine without the center screw for a while.  I dropped one while changing it to lefty.  Spyderco sent a new screw quickly. :tu:
