I dont have a Mora cause I am almost always in an urban environment but I would mind one.  I am thinking about doing some fishing again so I have been looking at them but it has been a very long time since I have fished!!  :)

I can't enter, but let me tell you that a Mora is great. It certainly is too robust to be a kitchen knife, it might not be 'high class' enough to be a hunting knife, but it is a great down-to-earth allround companion.
Helps you on the boat, helps you on the jobsite, helps you in the kitchen and stays scary sharp.

Biggest challenge for me was pull cut, as I was more used to pushing. Once you got this down, it is magnificent!

I don't own a Mora.

I own several. I'm out. :)

Why should you own a Mora? Becuase it's one of the best <$20 fixed blades you can buy and the only one of the three that recommend that has a half way decent sheath (Buck Packlite 143, meh belt sheath, and the Old Hickery butcher knife has no sheath). Buy it as a spare beater to keep in your trunk or your tackle box, or to experiment with various kinds of edges, or to just carry as a quintessential knife, go for it, you can spend three times the money and get half the knife from some very well known makers.

I don't own a Mora because until I joined MTO I didn't know they existed.
I want a Mora because they look excellent for camping and other outdoor activities.

You made me so curious I'm gonna get a Mora Companion (saw them here for 8 Euros shipped).

Morakniv make the 2444 for Bahco.
They also make the Companion knife for Clas Ohlson under the Cocraft name.
