It's because this is an older photo. Curiosity got the best of me in the end  >:D and I picked up a couple of SI's with bail. Need to get some pics...

Lovely knives, somehow they feel different than the Soldiers (and Pioneers). Must be the steel.  :think:

For our newer members or those not so familiar with these, we call them Black Beauty. ;)

They are marked in SAKwiki under the Soldier page, Variation 12.

An to think that I was in Switzerland a couple of times during the years these were available and probably walked right by them at one point in a train station. :viking:
