Led Lenser F1 post-giveaway microreview
on: August 06, 2014, 10:13:15 PM
I recently won a Led Lenser giveaway, and as I mentioned in that thread, my wife was the recipient. As a thank you to Leatherman for donating the light, Timothy for (quick) shipping, enki_ck for organizing and everybody else involved for making this place a place worth returning to, here's her quick impressions:

- Good size. (It is intended as an EDC item.)

- OK user interface, she likes the relative simplicity. Her words "It's better than the one with umpteen modes." (Yes, ZL, we've had a few threads about that, haven't we? ;) )

- Easier to trigger the strobe than "the so-called dim light". (Her words, she doesn't think the low light mode is very low at all.)

- Nice, bright light.

All told, she seems happy with it. (And she's hard to please.  ) Did she look into the LED even though I have warned her about the current generation of lights? Yes. Did she regret it? Yes. :D

And at last, the mandatory photo:

Glad it arrived fast and that she likes it.

Let us know when she stops seeing stars. Hope there's no permanent damage. :D

I suspect everyone has managed to half blind themselves with an LED at some point. ;)

Good to hear she likes it. :tu:

I've half blinded myself with an incandescent but then that is me...

Thanks for your/wife's thoughts Steinar
