The clip was designed to fit wave, charge & surge. But on surge it moves side to side a bit, I glued it shut when I use it.Finally got a Surge? Cool!
the biggest issue is that LM doesnt think it is an issue
i will look into it see if i can resolve it.
I see it differently. Clip keeps the multitools upright in the pocket and doesn't affect usage in a bad way.I have the Original Surge, Surge and a Original Charge TTi. The amount of movement is the same for all. However with the Charge it sits into the milled out slab reducing some of the play when not being worn. When using the multitools I tend to put pressure on the clip. The clip moves over, grip is more comfortable and much less pressure is applied to the attachment points.

Does this affect the Wave also? I hope not , I just ordered one without knowing of this factory defect...

Yes it is. But it is an easy fix. I just wish they would fix it.That's us mobile.

After playing with a pocket clip on a Surge and also being slightly annoyed by the play, I wonder if it could be reduced with shims or something in the areas shown in red:
Yeah I saw that one. Looks a bit fiddly though.
