Hey all.
I am suffering with this sloppy fit too, at least it's sloppier then I can accept anyways.
I don't have any shim stock and that would work too but I do have some of them plastic/nylon tooth picks.
Nylon being pretty robust leads me to believe this may last for a good spell before being too be done again.
I cut tip of tooth pick down until it was wider cross section and not too thick.
Then inserted a thin wide piece across pin from end of tool,..
How it looks after being used as shim an crushed in....
In this picture you see the clip is tighter on bottom side of lock an is locked, though it will not teeter further.
I am aware this is ghetto an makes one suspect of my abilities. Though other then a crimp on waved steel where unlocked side of clip rests its all ghetto or make shift to a degree.
This can be undine by fishing plastic piece out if not wanting clip action anymore.
It doesn't fall out unprovoked by any means. Trick is cutting a piece of nylon about width of pivot pin or slightly less an only about 1mm in height away from pivot so that nylon is crushed into half circle on top of pivot between clip an it.
It forces clip to engage lock tighter an has not released under my play time.
The result is no sway of clip even after removing an replacing several times.
YMMV, but hope this helps others a bit.
Mike
Edit, forgot the finished blurry shot....☺
