FT: Inova X5 flashlicght including new Duracell 2 CR 123 for AA/AAA Flashlight

I bought this nice Inova X5. It was badly described as "small Inova LED Flashlight working with standard batteries".
I assumed 2x AA. Wrong. It takes 2 CR 123 cells.
It´s a nice, quality flashlight and while not the brightest beam around, it would make a nice EDC /backup light.









I don´t get along with "strange" batteries and would like to trade it for a nice 1 or 2 AA/AAA EDC ligt of similar quality.
I guesstimate trade value at around 15-20 €, partially because I just paid 6,- € for 2 Duracell Ultra CR 123s that I will include.

Nobody has a shoddy 1/2 AA/AA cell lght they want to trade?

I have an unused incandescent 2 AA Mini Mag lying around for a while? Will that do? The quality may be a but lower, but it is vintage, and that is worth something to no?

I do have a few upgraded Mini Mags - I do rather like them. If no AAA Mag or other small light comes aong, we could be in business...
What colour is it?

I really have a 2 AA incandescent MiniMag, but Its value does not even comes close to the value of your light ..

I always loved the X5.  It was probably my first serious, non- Mag flashlight.

I might have to see if I have anything of value to trade for it.

Lowtech, can it take a 18650 battery? Or 2 rcr's?

I am sorry, but I do not know if you can use other power sources than 2 CR 123 primary cells?! 
I am a Noob when it comes to Lights.
Does anybody know? The manufacturer site only mentions CR 123s.

The X5 is sized to take primary CR123. 18650 has a slightly wider diameter and won't fit.

Some folk over at CPF have reported running the light on one RCR123 with a dummy spacer cell.

To show how little I know about batteries, I guess a RCR123 is a rechargeable CR123? And an 18650 is exactly what?

An 18650 is just another rechargeable battery type.

Most modern 2x CR123 lights can run on 1 18650 battery.
