God I have fallen in love with these. Mrs Smashie not so much lol. My boy, 3, loves them! (Even more when shooting his mum).

My 2 nieces got them a few years ago, so I had to buy myself one for self defense when I went to visit. :)  Great fun.

I've got a couple around here somewhere. If there is enough interest I could take some pics after work maybe.

No!  :o  What is this modding you speak of?
Why would anyone want to be souping up their Nerf gun?  ::)
Would you like to hear my poetry?

Jeez zoidberg. That's a few.
We used to have battles with them when I worked at Fishpond. We used to stock them.

I've still got one of those 6 shooter ones around somewhere. The spring has stretched out though.

Zoid you crazy mofo, you...

Anyway, love the Nerf guns, so do my 2 boys...we have about 15 of those scattered around the house, not to mention hundreds of bullets driving my wife mental ;)

They're great fun but unfortunately only a half-fun compared to our colleagues in US...Australian and New Zealand Nerfs come with pre-installed supressors off the shelf, due to heightened kids toys  security regulations so you need to mod them if you want some decent shot range :-(

The bullets on ANZAC Nerfs fly only 2/3 the distance of the US ones.

My mom didn't buy me Nerf guns at first, due to the whole "gun, projectile" thing. So she bought me Super Soakers.

I used to have the backpack version with the release handle like a fire hose. The day I turned it on my sister in the house and soaked the family photo wall in the hallway, she changed her tune about Nerf guns.

A few years ago, I bought a NERF N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25 for adult war with a few other good friends who own a computer store. It was great fun. Then I ended up giving it to a kid who wanted it terribly so. :)

I also ended up buying a Nerf Stampede for one of their daughters birthday's. She liked it quite a lot.

you're right -- sorry about that.

my best weapon against my boys during a Nerf gun battle is TWO modded Stryfes, each with an 18-round clip! :D the motorized firing allows for one-handed operation with each gun. ;)
