A few years ago, I bought a NERF N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25 for adult war with a few other good friends who own a computer store. It was great fun. Then I ended up giving it to a kid who wanted it terribly so.

I also ended up buying a Nerf Stampede for one of their daughters birthday's. She liked it quite a lot.

Well, not just yet anyway.

a modded Stryfe with an 18-round clip is my best weapon against my boys during a Nerf gun battle... just sayin.

you're right -- sorry about that.

my best weapon against my boys during a Nerf gun battle is TWO modded Stryfes, each with an 18-round clip! the motorized firing allows for one-handed operation with each gun.

Went through a phase of modding Nerf guns constantly. At every hockey tournament we went to, we would have massive wars throughout the hotel every night and in between games. When I found out you could make them better it was like a divine light shone on me.

Working with the little Nightfinders was my favorite, had one with two hardware store grade springs and O-rings in it with all the air restrictors taken out. That thing was entertaining, also resulted in my first multitool based injury.....

AArrrrrgggghhhhhhh Amazon have now changed the shipping date to end of Sept, i.e. out of stock. So I'm trying else where, went to the nearest Toys R us, nothing, Argos, sold out, might try Argos online...........
