Had to pick up this one...........
on: August 18, 2014, 12:24:10 AM
....if for no other reason than it's size. After collecting knives for more than 60 years my tastes have turned to unusual (but not necessarily expensive)knives and related tools. I had purchased on of these awhile back but one of the springs was broken in it.This one is intact and carried a $2 price tag. Hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do.

Thanks for sharing!

If the background mat size is in inches, this is almost a keychain size tool.  I think I have seen something similar in the past, but definitely not this small.  And how well does the combo tool work?

Cute one, Ray.

Def showed off a similar one in the Cheep and cheerful section. That one had a hammer head integrated in the pliers. :D

It is indeed in inches;overall length is 2 5/8" (about 6.6 cm) ans is in fact a key chain. The jaws only open to about 1/2" at the tip so it's usefulness is somewhat limited. The knife blade seems to take and hold an edge pretty well although I don't think you could apply too much force with the screwdriver blade. I bought it because miniature tools fascinate me.
I have a pair of scissors with ivory handles and a tiny knife blade set into each handle that was manufactured by Joseph Rodgers & Sons around 1880 and is a work of art. What is not readily apparent when you look at these(the scissors that is)is that each side is made from a single piece of steel;the only separate pieces being the blades and the ivory scales. Here is a picture of them. For reference the knife blades are 1"(2.54 cm)long.
