Not entering.

Brings back a bit of nostalgia. First phone was a Panasonic phone, in 1995. It ran on an old analogue network. Battery life was poor, think the thing had 18 hours standby.

There's a short thread here about first mobiles - http://forum.multitool.org/index.php?topic=35241.0

Those bag phones were awesome!  That was the first mobile phone my parents had, and with an external antenna, it would get fantastic reception!

The first phone I had was a Nokia, but for the life of me I can't remember the model number.  Oh, I don't have an iPhone, so I'm not entering, but this is a great GAW!

This was my first mobile phone, probably got it when i was around 13-14

a sendo s330i, one of the most stunning features was the 98x67 pixels

i think the one i had after that was a motorola L6 which was a birthday gift

with a full 12mb memory, i remember many hours spent at school deleting small videoclips to fit others on the phone

I've had quite a few phones in-between but for how good the iPhone 5 is that I'm currently on i still miss the full qwerty keyboard on a blackberry i had  :D

I'm actually thinking about entering this one, just to make it a bit more exciting. I'm surprised there's so few people in this one? Granted, I don't have a iPhone, I'm on the Android-side, but got a colleague that might be interested in it.

Nokia 8260. Customized it with lights and clear pink casing. Thought back then that phones were going to get smaller... I was so wrong.

Well the going trend was phones getting smaller, but that all changed once the technology caught up and internet on phones hit the scene.

Yup and now you can do everything with a smartphone and have a days worth of battery life. I remember needing to charge it once a week.

If this is still open, I'd like to enter.  My wife has an Iphone and I'd like to surprise her with this.

My first phone was a Kyocera piece of crap.  I can't remember the model, but it had a tiny screen, like 1 inch or so.  It was pretty tough though, I had it for about a year.

Finally found my old Nokia 3310. :D The most sturdy and reliable phone I've ever had. Except for the few times it somehow managed to dial 911, while in my pocket...

Days worth of battery life, typing without looking, knowing every single menu by memory. Those were the days. :D

EDIT: In my search, I actually even found a set of walkie talkies that I've been missing for 8 or 9 months now.  :ahhh
