Nite Ize HipClip placement?
on: August 28, 2014, 03:28:23 PM
I was wondering if anyone had any advice on the best placement for a Nite Ize HipClip on a Vic Super Tinker or Camper. What tool use does it interfere with? Is it okay on the philips driver side? Do you cover up the Vic cross emblem? Many thanks in advance!

I'd sugest a "dry run". Use some ordinary scotch tape to place it and try using the different tools. See what placement works best for you.

Mission accomplished. For anyone with a passing interest, I attached it to the emblem side, split ring up in case I decide to attach a lanyard. It also seems to be a good position for large blade use and for scissor use, my two most commonly used tools.

Looks great.  :tu: Probably better to keep the tweezers and toothpick facing up anyways.

I would love to slap it on an Alox, but I'm not sure it's recommended for inconsistent surfaces. (Inconsistent surfaces? Does anyone say that?)
