The 100
on: August 29, 2014, 08:37:16 AM
Yes, I've been watching The 100.  For those who don't know it's a very humdrum sci-fi show, basically a post apocalyptic version of Lord of the Flies.  In the show's defense I will say it's gotten better after what was a very shaky start.  Still far too teenage angsty for my taste, but it's a lot less formulaic and a lot darker than I thought it was going to be.

Anyway, one of the characters (Raven) seems to be using a MUT.

Is that what it is?
I took a few of photos for Grant and we were trying to figure it out.

I just started the second season.

I would say it's a MUT as well, loving season 2 as well :)

I like the show, but I will watch any sci fi.  Ive watched much worse than this before.

I'll admit to liking Jeremiah.  I dont know anyone else who would even admit watching that one. :D

definitely MUT

You can see the carbon scraper, bolt override tool and V cutter in the middle shot.
The bronze color on the right handle is the scraper, ending in a tab bolt override tool, with a shiny reflection from the cutter blade on the inside of the tab. MUT

I was just watching it and in season 1 episode 5, when Raven comes to Earth, she pulls the multi on Bellamy.

Not very clear shots but with the yellow parts it looked to me like maybe an early version of the Signal even. ???

I suspect a bit 'dressing' to make it look a little more Sci-Fi perhaps.

Not really kept up with the second series properly.  My digital TV recorder went on the blink and stopped recording it.

And one more from the final episode of season 1.

Better shot of the yellow added. Lots of use of that tool throughout the season. At least once in every episode since the 5th.
