Nice and very diversified collection sir, must say that the reaaaaaally long extender is particularly interesting. Mind saying what brand/model?

Also I don't see those double sided bits mounted into a double sided "extender" though, 2 phillips and 2 flat heads usually take care of everything here so I'm quite fond of it.

I'll try to post a pic of my very modest collection in a bit! ;)

I don't think I understand  One of those '4 way' screwdrivers with a reversable shaft and a double bit in each end?
I do have one somewhere  :tu:

I never thought this topic would appear here on a forum for MTs & SAKs
7 years ago I went on a wild spending spree for over a year buying anything and everything that contained 1\4" bits

I'll have a look in the garage to see where I put them all. All I know is that I went after quality stuff from the likes of Hilti, Wera, Wiha, Ruko etc etc.

I don't actually know how it all came about, but back then you could get serious bargains off ebay.
I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

I've had Wera, Bahco and Bosch.
I no longer have the Wera sadly, but it's really nice. Whether it's worth twice the amount I don't know.
The Bosch one is in Sparky's picture above. It's pretty good, but I found the ratchet a bit annoying.
The Bahco one is only about £2 more than the Bosch one, comes in a nicer case and the ratchet is a bit better. Whilst there's nothing wrong with the Bosch, if I was buying another one I'd get this again.

From what I know, Wera, as a traditional tool maker, is producing their own bits and tools. I am not sure about Bahco, but Bosch just buys those bits and bit holders - They are producing very good power tools, but the bit and drill sets are a hit and miss, depending on the supplier.

Very true what you said about the Bosch bits and drills. I think is a bit of a miss on their part, it makes them look bad to me. We have a 50 bucks set with a bunch of wood, metal and masonry drill bits and a few other odds and ends that are just terrible.

I have the usual collection that grows over the years, most stored/lost in any drawers or boxes.

Additional a small plastic box with all those loose bits i use with my accu drill. But this is my most used set when it comes down to hand tools.

It´s nice and small, still capable - and easy stored in a backpack if you need to move and want a basic set to be with you. Not cheap, but i love it.  :2tu:

Most of the time i use my 18V Dewalt impact for driving screws. A while back i bought a Workpro screwdriver it came with a bit set  and a nice flex shaft. The Workpro works like any other ratcheting screwdriver but also has cool feature if you hold the shank when using it either way you turn the handle the bit turns one way it is very fast for a manual screwdriver.

You can, ask me how I know

Reminds me of that saying...
"Be Careful What You Wish For, You Might Actually Get It"!

It was fun hoarding them all, but its a pain in the ass living with them. I can't shift for bloody tools .....Arrgh  :ahhh

As a colleague so eloquently once put it.

" Tha's got more effing tools than sad Mick an' that's sayin' sommat "!

You are welcome.

The Orange one did a test ride in y work-bag for a week and was then again replaced by a standard screwdriver grip with 1/4" bit keeper
The Advertising one lived in my curio box.
The L-driver got replaced by the Victorinox one, but works fine.
