Looking for a new Bak?
on: September 01, 2014, 12:46:48 AM
I got a little bit of money for my Birthday and I fancy something from the past that's a little different from my usual edc :)

I'd like to get a new Bak but it has to be a slippie :/ I have had a look on Heinnies, but there are quite a few to choose from and so e have had pretty mixed reviews ???

Any recommendations?

Thanks in a advance guys :)

The only BAK I see on Heinnies is this one:

Or am I missing something?

Yeah there was that one, but also some by John Nowell ect. Sorry I should of been more specific in my request in that I'm after British clasp knife that is similar to the ones issued last century, the genuine Bak is now a locker so a no go now :(

...the genuine Bak is now a locker so a no go now :(

Looks like the two-blade version (http://www.sheffieldknives.co.uk/acatalog/11-84.html) now has a locking blade, but the three-blade version doesn't (http://www.sheffieldknives.co.uk/acatalog/12-85.html).  Does that make the three-blade a win-win (i.e. an extra implement plus a non-locking main blade)?
